I purchased these Arrows Quiver and 2 bows recently, Just wondering if they may be Historically important. Bows have no visible marks and are untillered with risers popped off.

The arrows on the right look as though they have plastic points.If so that may very well indicate the era of WW2 manufacture.

Plastic nocks were not used until 1949. Judging from the pics some of the arrows have self nocks.

Phillip King - Checked your photographs and do not see anything that I could possibly recognize as being historically significant. Actually the best things I see are the Elephant Foot Blunts. If you have a set of calipers, can you give me the length and OD at the body of the blunts?

The Walt Wilhelm and Ken Wilhelm arrows that I have and those that I have seen were hand made by Walt and Ken. Some are signed some are not.

An arrow manufactured by Ben Pearson and signed by Walt Wilhelm would still be a nice item.

You would need to authenticate the pencil marking as being Walt Wilhelm's before it could be considered legitimate. Even then it could not be authenticated as one of Walt's personal arrows unless you have additional evidence to indicated such a claim.

I have seen many arrows marked with names of old bowmen, some were marked (labeled may be more accurate) in modern times by modern collectors. Some marked arrows were simply autographed as mementos at shows or shoots etc, and are are not the actual personal arrow of the person who autographed the arrow. The difference between the historical significance is tremendous.  

I have several of Walt Wilhelm's original signatures on items such as arrows, arm guards, and paper.

If you want to post a close up of the Walt Wilhelm name on your arrow, I may be able to identify it as being like one of those that I have....
