It's pretty exciting getting one's first bow. I have a history of collecting and I am trying to learn about my new bow without "collecting". It was purchased so that I can learn to shoot, but I always enjoy the stories.

I purchased this bow from the original owner, which is pretty cool. His grandkids shoot right handed and couldn't use it.

I can tell you the serial number is KT65369.

Is there any place that I can read more about this specific bow? Manuals, catalogs, etc.

Pictures would help us help you....does it have a green futurwood riser?  The K series bows were made during the 70's....give us some more info

Kodiak Hunter line started in 1967 and was a 58 AMO bow
In 1968 and onwards it was a 60 AMO bow.
In 1967 the serial number started with a 7.
In 1968 the serial number started with a 8.
In 1969 the serial number started with a 9.
The 70s K Hunters serial number started with K
The factory stabilizer bushing was standard in 1971 and on.
The coin is flush with the bow until early 1972.
After that, the Bear button appeared.

This is where my knowledge ends.

Not sure what "futurwood" is, but here is a photo:    

Futurwood is polymer injected maple. Your bow is of Futurwood. I might be off a year but I think the blue stripe was a 1975.
