What a deal on the shipping! If it helps, I second the Rosewood Sight Window bow.

alaskabowhunter

Wow, thanks Wade... this is too cool. I wish I could give everyone a bow who entered.... almost 100 names! That would leave me with only about 40 bows left for myself, I would feel naked and that's a visual nobody needs....

Thanks again Wade, I'm sure Bill and Bjorn will be even more pleased.

Bjorn- I will send you the leather strike plate and red feather rest tomorrow, Thanks for your reply.  I hope you hunt with it soon, it was meant to be bent!    :archer:

Well Chuck - We have a second for you to donate your Rosewood Sight Window 1959 Kodiak for the next drawing. I'm sure if we bring it to a vote on the floor, it will pass unanimously (maybe less one vote).

Shall I call for a vote?

Chuck,

Wow....I feel so lucky right now and fortunate to win such a bow. This will make a nice addition to the collection. I went down last night early so to get up here at 4 am to meet a guy at an auction that has some Bear bows up for bid and he's also bringing me a Grumley I bought from him. This will go down as one of my best days in awhile for sure. I just checked I'm awake this isn't a dream.....thats cool.

Chuck...I really Thank you alot for the generosity you have shown...and thank you for the  leather strike plate and feather rest also. Best Regards, Bill

To all, Please send all the Bear bows back to Michigan via my address...Thankyou

Wade, Thanks for the shipping and insurance...that was a nice addition.

A tip of the fedora to a fine gentleman and generous man. Kudos Chuck!

Hell yea Trap, I'll give you pick of the litter... here's the deal, you come up here in the summer, say mid July when the Kings are running and I'll let you choose which bow you want. It is a hard decision to make and should not be taken lightly. So you will need about a week in Alaska to decide on that perfect bow for your collection. Bring good rain gear and boots. You can stay at my place and I'll take you fishing while you decide on a bow. Sound like a plan?

So let me get this straight Trapaziod swings through Seattle on the way to Alaskan in july ? picks up bowdoc who is waiting along the freeway some place wearing a back pack and with G.Loomis noodle rod in hand(thats a long light weight fishing rod for you guy's who just said what the hell is a noodle rod).
We hang out at Chucks place for a week or two fishing.Shooting all kinda bows.Eating up all his food and drinking all his soda's ? I don't do alcohol so you boy's are safe there.
Then Trapazoid picks a bow from Chucks collection to bring home with him ? its the rosewood sight window 1959.
Then at a rest stop somewhere in Canada on a cold dark night while driveing back to Seattle to rid himself of the bowdoc finally after two weeks.Trap comes out of the can at the rest area looking around saying I'am sure I parked right here...his next words are doc you SOB come back here with my 59.You can keep the truck and all the fish we caught. But I want that bow back...bd

WOW Chuck, the offer to hand pick from your collection is very generous.

The offer to hang out with you in the Last Frontier for a week and benefit from free fishing guide fees and a place to stay is even more generous and something we can talk further about.

I've been looking at Google maps and Sorry Doc, I've been advised to head North from here to Winnepeg and then NW through Canada.

In reality though, a roadtrip with Doc to Chuck's house would be well worth the added fuel costs associated with picking him up along the way.  I'm sure I'd come back with an education.

I think my old Toyota would make it Doc,  Are you in?
