Are the records available for any of Jack's Bow's?
I have a 52# Gamemaster Jet ser# F-xx that I would like onformation on.
I have owned the bow for a couple of years and have decided it's time to let it go.    
Any info would be appreciated.

As part of the Jack Howard Project, we attempted to get the records form Ms. Dorothy.  Sh doesn't seem to know anything about them.

Our intention was to maintain them for situations just like yours, so we could answer these questions.  I know they existed because I called Jack many times when I had an opportunity to pick up a used Howard and he had all the info on each bow you could want.

I assume your F-XX is in lieu of the actual serial number.  If you PM me the number I may be able to give you a guestimate of the year model.

If your Gamemaster Jet only has a 2 digit number after the F then you have a very early one built in the late 1960's. Not sure exactly when Jack started making the Jet. Could have been mid 1960's, too.

Yes, it has a two digit Serial #.
Thanks for the info. I was guessing 70's but was gonna say no later that the early 80's just to error on the safe side.

Kelly may know more about this than I do, but in conversations with Jack he stated that there was no difference between his early Jets and the last ones he made, other than the fact that he did make a few with carbon limbs on special order only, and the ones he made as camo models where the riseres were one solid piece of hard rock maple.

He said that he made no design changes in the bow,

Now, if this is true, your bow is every bit the same as one made in new mellinium.

I wish I had the cash right now to make an offer.  These opportunities dont come around everyday.  You won't have any problems selling the bow.  

Jack or Kelly, Were all of them 66" ?

Yes all of the Gamemaster Jets are the same, except a very few of the "Last Edition" ones when he no longer had any tear strip glass left so he used Bow Tuff glass. As I understand from talking to Jack these were the very last couple dozen bows, serial numbers F-9XX. And then it was only those Jets over 50# too as he still had .040 glass.

Whatever year Jack started making the Jets(guessing 1967/68) those are exactly the same in every way, (except custom grip option) to every one made since then(except for the very few mentioned above. Absolutely no design changes were ever made to the Gamemaster Jet during its entire production.
