Hello Everyone

I just joined this site and was wondering if anyone has an idea as to the age of a bow I just purchased?

Its a Ben Pearson KM Special 7305. With 45lbs at 28" draw. It also has a serial # AN-13136.

Thank you in advance.

I found this thread:  http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=14;t=001055#000004

the gurus must be out this weekend. Be patient and I'm sure they'll see this thread.

Ben Pearson made the KM Special with catalogue number 7305 from 1967 - 1969. Perhaps somebody will more knowledge can come along and help narrow it down from the seriam number. But 67, 68, or 69 is a good start for you.

Does anyone have any further information on this bow? Was it made to be sold in department stores?
Was it a nice shooting bow for 58"?
Any ideas if it was made in 67, 68, or 69
Has anyone previoiusly owned one of these?

Thanks
Jonathon

It definately was made for department stores. If you notice it is not in the regular Ben Pearson catalogues- it's in the "unlisted Bows" , that means department store.

I'm sorry if I didn't help you as much as you woulda liked - but at least I gave you a real good start.

Thanks Migra Bill, that did answer my department store question....I guess I will have to wait for it to arrive to find out how they shoot.

I received my bow tonight. Wow this bow is really nice. It looks brand new, its in way better condition than the pictures show. The Zebra wood is very exotic looking, and the bow is light as anything and the limbs are straight.
I'm very impressed and cant wait to take it to the range tomorrow.
