I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Definitely not a Grumly.  The Bear logo ont he bow was not used 'til long after Nels was gone from Bear, I don't think he ever made a "CUB", and the style of the limbs and tips are definitely not his.

Although I am not that familiar with Nels' signature, I have seen enough of Fred's signatures to guess that this is not his,

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Can I barrow a white pen, I think there may be a "Grumley" 1972 Kodiak in my collection...

Flyrite

I think Grumley is rolling over in his grave, maybe not rolling but spinning wildly.

I have one in my basement that says "To Fred from Nels".  What could that mean?

If a signature is all it takes, I have about 85 bows that I can sell as:

I saw that bow. ASked the seller if he had any proof of authenticity. He said he would stand behind it if someone could prove it's not.
