I'll take better pics when I can get outside in sunlight. But for now....

Guess what came in the mail today....

That's just about the sweetest Mag Riser I have seen.. Almost a sin to string it up.

If it going to be a sin. String that sucker up shoot it then go to confession.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Migra Bill

Yep. I sold 2 Mustangs and a beater Tri State Jaguar - had to add 55 bucks to pay for this Mag TD.

Go ahead and sin, I'll forgive ya too.. Lets see that sweetie ready for the dance.

OK- Even though it was raining out - here are some pics of her ready to dance. There are 3 original Bear strings still in their packets; but I think I'll get Jimmy to make me one.

One thing I did notice is that my hand sits too high on the grip. I would like to trade this one for one that fits my fat hand better.

TRAP

I can see that bow draped over a deer with the hide still attached.  Very nice.

With all this talk about those mag risers lately, I am starting to get the urge to get one... How much do they weigh? Are they heavier than the wood (futurwood) ones? - Simon

Bill, what is the brace height in those pics? It looks awfull high to me. In the one pic which is almost showing the tips, it seems as if the recurve has already streightened out at brace height ...

Otherwise I have to say: I like it!

Migra Bill

Falk- I strung it strictly for photographing. I think the brace height is extremely high as well - I would not shoot it like that. In fact after I strung it, I noticed according to the nock that the previous (original) owner had on the string - it was upside down.
