I have a question for the seasoned collectors. What is the easiest way to distinguish a '61 from a '62 Kodiak Magnum? If anyone has photos of the two I would love to see them. I appreciate your help.

Thanks

Frank

Hope this helps,  The 62 is of course is the darker of the two.

The glass is green on the 61 and gray on the 62. I always liked the green glass better, but that is just my opinion. I have seen many of the 61 bows with a lot of stress.

Nice job on the plates Daryl..I spent the day with Bob last friday, what a guy. Talked archery all day! He left me with a lot of samples and while he was here he took a pattern of my early 63 side plate for production. I showed him your feather rest he was impressed to say the least...Talk soon Mike

Any questions ?????????????? nice job double D.....bowdoc

Does Bob make the feather rests for 3 Rivers Mike.  I know that he makes leather quiver parts for the leathertops and I've bought quite a few grippers from him.

Sorry to hijack?

Hey DD I think Rick Case and friends were makeing the strike plates for threeR's...not sure on the feather rests...not sure on the strike plate anymore eather....darn them are some good looking magnums. Its kind of hard to decide which one I like the best.bowdoc

No as far as I know no feather rests at all. Leather plates that are very close to the real thing,The arrow grippers, repo Bear bow racks ,rug rests and the Indian side plate (Indian Head). Im not sure who makes 3 Rivers feather rests, But you need to get in on that!
