I found an old recurve bow in my parents attic that my dad said he got new around 1965...it is labeled weird with the following markings on it...does anyone know what manufacturer would have used these markings...there is no information on  the bow other then these markings.

The bow has white glass on the arms and is a light wood grain everywhere else...It also apears to be a mass produced bow, but there are stickers or brandings on it.

My dad shot it a long time ago and broke the string and never could replace it...I have already done that, but would love to know what this thing is...

I dont have any pictures of it, but if no one knows what the brand is my the markings i will take pictures.

Without pics, an ID of the bow is difficult for most of us.  Someone may chime in with a good guess.  

That middle lettering most likely indicates the length (66") and weight (35#).

During the 60's there were several mass produced bow manufacturers...such as Ben Pearson which would be my wild a$$ guess.

Damon Howatt is what im going for, but it would be marked on the upper and lower limbs

I will try to get some pictures up on it...I thought it was a pearson until I saw a pearson in person.

the limbs do not come to the riser the same.  The riser comes with a point and this bow comes with a box end.

It is amazing how you guys know about this stuff...I am just getting into it.
