It's a bolt on Daryl. It has 3 grippers on one side and one on the other.

Here's one I mounted on a Holcomb 59 Replica. I used a quiver bushing and epoxied it in.  If you can find an original Bear bushing it might be better.

If you're going to put it on your KMag those little prongs are going to dimple your riser.  You might consider trading it for a tape on.  Either quiver is correct for the period.

If the gripper is dry and stiff, you can buy a replacement from Bob York.

I thought about the dimples in the riser and I'm ok with it. I'm planning on keeping the bow and quiver together.

The grippers are in good shape. The gripper on the back seems to line up with a small slot in the steel. Surely the broadhead doesn't slip into that slot in the steel?

sure does Kenny  I usually keep a squared off razorhead there for shooting squirrels and taking a practice shot.

Finding a Bear bushing and screw shouldnt be too hard.  I know there are guys on here that have them laying around.

Man I've seen then installed with a pocket knife. So a drill would be an inprovment over some.bd

I think I may have found an original bushing and screw that came from the 1962 Kodiak I worked on for Blackhawks friend.I installed a compass where the quiver bushing was and the fellow told me to keep the bushing and screw. So that would make it original as it came from a 1962 and going into a 1962 and they did come with quiver bushings from the factory.I will keep ya posted asap.bowdoc

I got a 62 kodaik with the bushing already installed that i plan on refinishing this winter  and would like to pick up a leather top alttle later in the year if anyone got one for sale and willing to hang on to it till later
if a man is alone in the woods and no woman can hear him is still wrong?

d. ward

Kenny would you be so kind as to PM me your addie and I will get it sent off.Looks like monday before we'll be able to get out and make the P.O.run.But I will get it sent out asap.SES would you be able to load a pic of your factory installed 1962 bushing ? The bushing was counter sunk into the riser a bit.The reason was they wanted a flat surface for the shoulder of the bushing to mount againest. They counter sunk the bushing a little. That pic would sure help Kenny with his quest...bowdoc

d. ward

counter sunk allows the screw head to mount flush.Mine should have the thick head screw.I just used this one for pics..bowdoc
