anybody know any decent spots to hunt deer and hogs near my area, merced,california???
I'm desperate for the best areas to hunt near my hometown this summer!!!

Check the mileage to Atascadero. Prime piggin' over there. For deer, most any place in the Sierra foothills that you can get access to near year around water. The deer are there. Find 'em.

Camp Roberts is just north of Paso Robles by about 20mins.

I used to go to a place just out side Yosemite called Paradise springs. Ever heard of it? That was back in the late 80's early 90's. Maybe you can look into that. Big bucks come out of the park on to that area.
