Anybody out there now anything about making chili? this is going to be my first year in the chili cook off at Comptons,& to be honest my stomach wont handle hot stuff much any more so I could use a good recipe to start with. Thanks. Jeff Hren.    P.S. I just want to let Ron LaClair know im there I dont expect to beat him till next year or the year after. HA HA ( just kidding Ron). Jeff Hren.

I got a few I can share later if I can dig them out. But let me tell you something to add to any chili recipe that will make it better; coffee.

No not the grounds or that nasty instant stuff, just take what ever wasn't drunk that morning and pour it in. I prefer about 2 cups to a gallon of chili.

Coffee is one of those foods that naturally enhances other flavors. Just try it!  ;)
All the best to you,
