Nice shootin', loved the video Jimmy. One thing that I've always respected about you is that you use lots of different types of bows and you tell it how it is without bias when discussing them.

The elm's handle looks mighty beefy. Bet that reduces hand shock some huh? Do you use that handle design on most of your bows?

That elm is one of the smoothest shooting bows I've made. I love osage but the more dense woods have a little more hand shock.  The only problem with some of the white softer woods is that they suck up moisture like a sponge.

I've watched several of your videos.  Well done on all of them!  I hope to make my first selfbow this spring.  I have a few osages to cut and split for future years...
