For those of you that hunt with your bows, once you get to/in your stand, what do you do to warm up your shooting muscles to prepare for that all important shot?  And how often do you repeat the actions in order to keep your muscles from getting cold and tight while sitting on stand?

I shoot a judo point several times walking in. On stand I draw the bow back to anchor and aim at something in range quite a bit. On a shot at game I find the cold muscles don't come into play with the adrenalin pumping.

I would ask how much movement are you willing to make?

Isometrics can do a lot to warm muscles up, and take little movement to do, but may do little for flexibility, which maybe needed more then anything while sitting for long periods.

I hunt public land and have to stalk my deer stands. I wouldn't dare of shooting any arrows on the way in, or drawing back unnecessarily. It might be ok on private land, but not where I hunt.

I usually go through this routine to both warm-up my muscles and my mind and to make sure I have the clearance I need:

I simply 1/4 draw, 1/2 draw, 3/4 draw, and then full-draw. All of this in about 2 minutes.
