I did a search on this forum and found my elbow is probably too high drawing the bow and Im probably twisting the string on my draw? Is this most likely my problem?

My ring finger used to get sore but now I have a pretty large callous formed rite on the pad of my ring finger. I looked at Terrys form video and it appears his drawing arm elbow is in line with his bow arm.

Probably torquing the string. Make sure your string hand is the same angle with your head when drawing to anchor. If you cant your bow, your head and string hand should follow.

Also be sure that your string forearm and wrist are relaxed!! This allows the string to align your hand with the string and not the other way around.

This can also be caused from your drawing elbow being above 10 O'clock.

How does your tab fit?

I have a similar issue but my callous, albeit minor, is due to my tab being just a shade to small.  When I'm at anchor my ring finger is relaxed almost to the point of not being on the string at all (the majority of the weight held on the middle finger with the index taking up the rest of the slack).  

Doing so causes the bottom half of my ring finger to "ride the edge" of the tab and as a result a small callous has built up.  It's not painful and there's no numbness in the digit so I'm not overly concerned about it.  I suppose I could switch tabs but I have yet to find another one that I like so for now I'll stick with the rough patch on my finger!
