Eric,  You are getting there -- but here are a few things to work on.

First, as you get ready to shoot, you lean forward and tuck your head forward toward your bow shoulder.  Work on keeping your spine straight up and down and keeping your head straight on top of your spine.  There should be significant visible space between your jaw and bow shoulder.

Second, Watch your bow shoulder.  See how it raises up nearly to your chin?  Try to keep that shoulder in a down and relaxed position.  It should not ride up. Just raise the bow with your arm, not your entire shoulder. When it is high like that you are in a position where possible injury to the bow shoulder could occur. (Impingement.)

Do your string fingers start to "burn" or hurt during or after shooting?  Try to get a slightly deeper hook.  That is placing the string in or very near the first joints in your fingers then pointing your index and middle finger tips back at your throat more.  This is a stronger finger position and will help with a more relaxed finger release and reduce any "Burn" in the finger tips.

You essentially have the right idea.  Just work on your posture and that release some more.

Are you willing to give up what you are; to become what you could be?
