I don;t know what I am doing wrong,but now my arrows are fishtailing up, at 18-20 yrds ? I was fine before ? I;m shooting a 40# tomhawk ss,and using 28",29" ... 15/35 goldtips,125 tips.

grayfeather,

If this has just started and you were fine before, video yourself and see what you have changed in your form.  As I say, IF your arrows were flying fine before, don't change your equipment, it hasn't changed, you have.

Are you willing to give up what you are; to become what you could be?

Sounds like your nocking point might have slipped, or the string has stretched.

Im no expert, but I know if I put alot of pressure on the string with my ring finger, it makes my arrows nock left and nock high, I guess it acts as if torking the string, I also shoot 3 under. I try my best to just lay my ring finger on the string and I dont have any problems when I do it right.

I agree with Don, it sounds to me like your nocking point is too low now or the brace height has changed. Did you just change strings?

I had the same problem and it drove me crazy.  Looked for every equipment and arrow problem and finally figured out it was my form.  I had a lot of tension in my hand and forearm and was torquing the bowstring.   All I had to do was RELAX the muscles in my forearm and hand....let your wrist go limp and allow the muscles in your back and shoulders do the work.

Problem went away...
