How is your head positioned at full draw? pictures would be helpful

BobCo 1965

Head position is one of the last things that archers master. The head should be as square to the target as possible. Once it is set in place or after addressing the target it should remain as motionless as possible. Easier said then done though. Personally, I have to do neck stretches a few times a week in order to get into the correct position without straining. The best sight picture will come when the pupil in your right eye (right handed shooter) is as close to the center of your eye while at full draw as possible.

Equidistant between my shoulders and above my neck.

Though I anchor on a tooth (instead of collar bone in the first drawing above) and do lean forward into it a bit to get my eye OVER the arrow.

I am having the most problems with my head as well.  I have a great release as I have worked on it plenty.
You get to keep what you kill.  If it were easy there would be no value in it.

I heard your head should be canted the same as the bow but I find that difficult with the situation calls for severe canting.  However, with just a normal shooting cant my head is usuall canted the same with the bow.
