Hey Guys,

Considering trying to shoot 3 under, just curious as to anchor points you 3 under guys use.  Thanks.

Airborne

index finger in corner of mouth--if you have a horse face like me it really works great!

2fletch

Thumb knuckle in corner of mouth. It works well except when I'm talking.

Airborne, were you in the airborne? 82nd here.

jess stuart

Index finger in corner of mouth as well.  Tried the thumb knubkle on the ear lobe and cock feather touching nose. just never felt good to me.

Manitoba Stickflinger

Middle finger to the corner of the mouth, cock feather to nose tip.

Try for a hard anchor if you can find one comfortable. I use index on corner of cheek bone and thumb knuckle corner of my jaw.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Raging Water

I am with Chopx2 - Index high on cheek bone and thumb knuckle on jaw.

However, I just switched back to split.

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Real Buckmaster

middle finger corner of my mouth.
Really what ever feels natural to you.

Bowwild

I shoot 3 fingers under; index finger at corner of mouth thumb and little finger folded in palm (like scout sign). Thumb knuckle happens to be behind jawbowne. Relaxed (flat) back of the drawing hand.

Index finger in the corner of my mouth and thumb wrapped around the back of my jaw.

I am like Winterhawk. Infact, I fletch my feathers so when I reach full anchor the tip of the feather just touches my nose. If my nose grows I'm in trouble! haha

I Try to keep My Thumb Anchored at the Base of Neck. Thats how I learned with the "Other" Bows, and its worked out so far on My Longbows and 'Curves!! There was an "Old Time Archer" that used to Anchor that way, My "Teacher" told me, but Danged if I can Recall the Mans Name Right Now!!!

Get Rick Welch's latest video "The Accuracy Factory" and look at his double anchor.  His class and techniques made all the difference in my consistency and accuracy.
