I shoot instinctively and my shots are usually really good vertically. However I am frequently off target a bit to the right or the left. I'm sure its a form issue, any ideas?

Could be failure to follow-through. After the release, don't move anything until the arrow is in the target.

What Don Stokes said.  If your elevation is consistently right, you're moving your bow hand to see where the arrow is going too soon.  You'll like the view a lot better if you wait until the arrow is in the target to look.

If you don't keep pulling through well on release your arrows will go left.

if you do not pull through properly with back tension you are shooting the bow with your arm muscles.  Back tension will eliminate your prblem.

I assume you shoot split finger. This is discussed on another thread in this forum, and what I've recently learned from an insrtuctor is that it has to do with finger pressure, since you have good vertical alignment. Hitting left - too much pressure on the bottom finger. Hitting right - too much pressure on top finger. Nock the arrow, close your eyes, and pull back paying attention to finger pressure - the majority of pressure should be on the middle finger - you can feel it with your eyes closed, but not with them open. This works for me.

Kumasan I actually shoot 3 under. But what you are describing could still be a possibility. I do know I do need to work on gaining back tension rather than relying on my arms. Lots of good ideas. thanks

Waknstak, the only other thing that causes me to shoot left is a slight overdraw, which moves my site window.

If you are shooting 3 under you should be able to use 2 anchor points.  There are several threads on that topic here on the shooters forum.
I tuck my thumb joint under my jaw bone and touch the tip of my nose to the end of the feather.
This works for me, once you have a consistent anchor you will not have any left to right issues.
