I have bows that range from 34# to 50#. I can be accurate with any of them and I can be erratic with any of them.  It seems to me though, that the biggest variable is the physical (as opposed to draw) weight and mass of the bow.  A physically heavier bow seems to make it easier to get my bow hand to hold still than does a lighter bow.  That said, I still think the biggest difference between a good day shooting and a bad day is my own concentration on form and target.  If I go through my shot routine properly and don't rush my shot, I can hit with any of my bows; if I don't, I can't hit with any of them.  I do prefer the light draw weight for form work, because I can work longer before muscle fatigue sets in.
Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons; people are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I second that.  A bow with a little mass to it I find easier to follow through on the shot than a light bow.

I guess this beggs the question - what is a good shot?  A friend of mine Van/FL can shoot a 9" 6 shot group at 60 yds with a hunting weight barebow.  when I saw that I realized I was settling for "hunting" accuracy.

I find that drawing my 69# bow forced me to align like Terry's clock and to have a clean release.  But my arm would shake after ten or so arrows and ruin everything.  Now I shoot 55# and am much better at it than I am with 47#.
