imo, an excellent article for newbies and seasoned archers/bowhunters alike.  by jim ploen, in the spring 2000 issue of instinctive archer magazine.  a 2.8 meg pdf file.

Great article, great mag, I'm glad I subscribed to all issues. They had alot of good archer's shooting info.

for those who don't know jim, he was a champion archer back in the 60's/70's, an avid bowhunter and outdoorsman, and a master bowyer (he along with buddy created 21st century archery).

there are 5 jim ploen iam articles in all.  for those that don't have the mags or the  iam cd  i'll eventually post them here at trad gang -

Great read Rob - thanks!

Really demonstrates how far the definition of instinctive has gotton away from its origin as an archery term. And how shooting knowledge has regressed.
