I am wanting to get into traditional shooting and hunting. I'm hoping to get a recurve, practice for about 9 months and go kill a p&y deer this fall.       Anybody got a sweet deal for a poor boy from Mississippi? Seriously, any help and/or advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

Yep, if you get started right now you should be ready by then, just though if your like me. In the classifieds you can post up want you want ie
"WTB- first recurve" then in the ad let them know that you are new to trad and want a bow and what you are willing to spend, you will get a number of fair offers here. You will want something around 40# to start out with, trust me. You will have a blast learning to shoot trad bows- Steve
