Any pointers on general parameters for implementing internal footing with EFOC??

In Dr. Ashby's update he mentioned that since he's placed his findings in the hands of potential manufactures, specific details are being withheld for the time being.

I'm thinking of using teflon rod behind brass inserts, and unless it's a potential trade secret,would appreciate thoughts on practical dimensions - for example, length scaling of the IF based on things like insert length and/or weight up front.
