I just saw a picture where somebody had mounted this sight on the  belly  side of the sight-window. Is that backwards?

I'm thinking of trying one of these sights, does it matter if it's mounted backside or bellyside? Thanks

Either way will work. Mounting it on the back (conventional) gives you a longer (little more accurate) sight radius. Mounting it bellyside would make for a more 'snag-free' hunting bow, but I have never tried it.

also if mounted on the belly side makes it easier to use ( see) for us older eyes. most of the old sights in the 70's were mounted on the belly side of the bears or pearson bows and they were the old reynold site.

Thanks, gents - this sounds like the way to go, mounting a sight "inboard".
