4560 cx arrows,29"bop 160 gr. fld pts. 48# @28"

I draw all 28"

my feathered shaft hits dead on and my bare shaft hits the same spot but the nock is leaning to the right about 2.5". the lower in pt. wieght the worse it gets. don't have any 200gr. pts.

do I need to get a bare shaft perfect or just close the perfect?

Try a heavier spined shaft

Nock right would indicate your' spine is a little stiff. Adding more tip weight will help correct this, but if they are grouping with your fletched shafts I see no need to bother.

Quick question: what distance are you bareshafting at?  I'd keep moving back to see if they continue to group, or if the nock right is actually indicating a stiff spine.  

Personally, I don't pay attention to nock orientation in the target b/c the target material determines that just as much (if not more) than the tuning.

Fletch a few up and put some broadheads on.  If those are grouping with your fieldpoints out to whatever limit you can shoot you're good to go.

The fletch will straighten up a slightly untuned arrow, but you are losing some energy in the process, I would try adding a 50 grain brass insert to the tip and see what happens, I'd bet it will straighten out the bare shaft and the fletched arrows will fly even better, and you will have a higher foc and in my opinion will be better off.

The only thing about the inserts is that I am already about 11gr/ lbs.

I do not want a 700 gr arrow for a 48# bow.

also as I went back more the bare shaft does go left.several inches. so it is stiff.
but the feathered shafts fly great.

Still overspined from the sounds of it, but what distance are you shooting from?  If it's 15 yards, then a few inches off is a big difference.  If 40 yards, then you're closer to perfect than I've seen.
Put broadheads on a few arrows and see if they'll group with the fieldpoints at your maximum shooting distance.  If they do, then you're tuning is close enough.  If they don't (and I'm guessing they won't) then you'll need to add more weight up front or go with longer arrows.  Broadheads will magnify any tuning problems just like bareshafts.

got some CE 150's coming. that should be better don't you think?

I'm shooting 31-1/2" CE 150's w/125gr points from my 45# ACS-CX.  They fly like darts.

i went to 100gr inserts and 200 gr pts and still too stiff on those 4560's. might stick w/ my 1916's.
