Ok, I've been wanting to do this for a while and I finally got a new computer that I can do videos. This was shot quickly in my backyard while raining... if you listen you can hear the raindrops hitting the camera. I'm always striving to improve so let me hear what you've got to say.

That right there is one fine example of form. Very nice indeed!

I myself think your hand ends up straight back as it should, but it should go straight back at the shot, anmd yours seems to fly away from your face a bit and than back. I do the same thing and am working on correcting it. Guru(Curt Cabrera) has a form video on here somewhere and his is flawless as far as I know. I should also say, this is just a personal observation and I am no way here to criticise. Shawn

 Yeah, that's one thing that I try to work on. I can't seem to get rid of it altogether. I often find if I focus on the release the bow arm tends to drift. All I think about is pulling my elbow through the shot and letting go. I find that I'm more accurate concentrating on pushing the bow arm through the target than trying to control a perfect release. I hope that makes sense... it does in my head.

Anyways, what do you do to try and work on the release hand?

I've got some video from other angles if that would help.

It might help if you move the bow to your head not your head to the bow. Other than that it looks good to me.

Im wrestling the same problem...I try to always pay important attention to every step I take in my form right on up to the stopping of my release, I noticed that if I can feel my hand hit my ear every time I get a better shot..concentration is my biggest downfall sometime tho      
I think your form looks great other than the end of the release and thats a problem for a lot..search for Rod Jenkins video and you'll see what I mean

Im impressed, nice form. I think your dipping your head as well and not bringing the bow to it...

I shot this the other day. The shooting speed is a bit faster than I normally shoot. I only had 30 sec. to film left on my memory card

I've been working on the release. One, thing I did was switch to my old glove. I purchased a cordovan glove to try and it felt like I couldn't get rid of the string. The video did help show me how much that affected the shot. The other thing I'm doing to try and clean up the release is use a dead release.
