Any Mattawoman shooters. Looking at one but don't know anything about them. How are they in general? Smoothness, quietness, quickness etc? Are they quality built?

I have one......it's one of my go to hunting bows. Smooth, more than fast enough, and almost silent. Very well made. Not everyone likes the grip, mine has a Hill style grip, just a bit fatter. I really like it.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I have one, 51#, slight locator grip.  Its a real shooter, smooth, quiet, well made, and light weight.

Tom makes his grips different bow to bow, so he should be able accomodate what you prefer, obviously within the limitations of the design.  He knows everyone has different grip preferences.

He also makes fine arrows; G. Fred Asbell has commented here on TG to attest to Tom's arrow quality.  I have a few myself.

Its best to call him and leave a voice message if he doesnt answer; he will get back to you.
