browser cache is another issue.

before logging in, refresh/reload your browser, or press F5.

Just tried again for about 4 times and still can't get in.  Tried using Email and PW and screen name and PW.

No dice.

Also when first clicking into test site I get this symbol =( in red?

I got right in after I closed a page with an imogi of a sideways sad face.

I was able to log in before, using the information you gave me, but using the same information this morning I was unable to log in.  I tried several times.  I don't know what "refreshing the browser" means on an iPhone, but I did close the Safari browser and reopen it, which is about all I know how to do.  During the day, I switch back and forth between my iPhone and iPad, depending on which I have with me at the time.  This hasn't caused any problems before, but I thought I'd mention it.

I can log in on my iPad, but not on my iPhone.

What is tap talk?  I went on the new site using my iPad, and don't see that anywhere.

I looked up tapatalk on the Internet, and found that it is an app you can install on your iPhone to interface with forums.  However, this starts as a free service and then after an introductory period changes to $5/month for basic and $10/month for premium, which doesn't seem like a very good deal.  I'm not sure if tapatalk is what you were referring to.

yes, "tapatalk" is a plugin for both phones and forums.  i didn't know they charge ya for that app, but not surprised they would.  anything to do with microsoft or apple i avoid like the plague!

there really are issues with "smart" phones and the internet, particularly internet forums.  i'll check with SMF and see if they've got some kinda "fix" going on ....

i just added the "responsive curve" mod to the test site. it's a gamble move, please try to login using yer smartphone.  if your smartphone browser is already running, turn it off (exit it), then open it up new and login to the test site.  please lemme know how it goes!

Still doesn't work on my iPhone or on my other iPad.  I wonder if there is some kind of security feature that won't let you log in on more than one computer?  On the current system, I am automatically logged in on whichever of my three devices I happen to be using at that moment.

no such security forum feature that would prevent logging in from multiple sources.  it's beginning to sound more like an iphone issue.

if your access is via a mobile device, particularly a smartphone such as an iphone, seek apple assistance.  some folks get in immediately with smartphones, others don't.  this is not a trad gang issue, it's a device issue.

if yer on a "normal" computer, close your browser down completely.

I got on it yesterday.. it is a little different looking, but the functionality of it is SSSSSOOOOO SSSSWWWWEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT!!!!
