Some of y'all have read my post from earlier this week about my sons digging out their old bows and igniting a flame. My oldest who has had several challenges through the years with autism and developmental delays began asking question after question as to the differences between my recurve and his long bow. Then one day after work he informed me that he had decided to spend the money he had saved for the last year on a recurve and he wanted me to take him to find one. Today was the day, after going to my youngest sons basketball game at church we headed down to Cabela's. There we found that the young lady working the archery department was also a trad shooter and enthusiast. We cruised the selection of recurves and my son found a PSE take down package that seemed to sing to him. The young lady set it up for him and arrow after arrow was flung down the range in the store. It didn't take him long to decide it had to come home with him. He picked out a few accessories of the shelf and paid for the package. We drove home and the rest is history...

Love God, Love your neighbor.

Good for him....and you.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Now, that's the good stuff!  Great for him!
