Those Special 8 Points

This is a buck that I first found the sheds from when he was a 2.5 year old. I found the next years set too. Didn't find the set from when he was 4.5, but I finally caught up to him when he was 5.5 Not a big racked deer, but he was a deer that I had a lot of history with and was tickled to have a chance at him.

Here is the buck that I am currently after. This was him last year. He grew a G4 on his left side this past year, so he is no longer just an 8.

Thanks Charlie! So much fun watching them grow and seeing them change and mature.

I got a cool old buck this year, he really went down some in size from the last few years. Lots of character and still a great buck aged him at 7/8 yrs old.

Another, shared this pic with the regional game biologist and in a typical studious response, "a fine example of a coastal whitetail" Made me chuckle. Largest body deer I have seen here in 30 years.
