Merry Christmas to you. I just spoke to my daughter in Lansing a little while ago. It seems y'all have gotten a bit of snow for Christmas this year.

Sam I live a few blocks from Lake Michigan and we are getting lit up.Snow is bad but the wind is making it worse.

Perch...none better fer eatin'  

I fished the waters from Saugatuck up to Muskegon for years.  Jumbo Perch,  Steelhead in the spring, and Lake Trout all Summer.

That experience along with the annual Whitetail bow season kept me alive.

Here I am down in South Carolina....What was I thinkin?

It is getting pretty chilly for down here. My wife looked at a forecast that says it will go down to around 20 in a few days. I know to you guys that's not cold, but us southern guys have thin blood. I hope we miss all the snow this year. I just don't like it. anyway, Happy New Year!
