I have to ask, has anyone experienced getting busted by game because of bow quivers and bright cresting, wraps, and/or feathers??  I know they make fletching covers, etc to cover.

Thanks!

I haven't had that experience, although I have spooked deer with a side quiver slung over my shoulder.  The fletching makes an aweful noise when scraped against a pine branch...

I have been busted a few times while raising my bow off the hook.  Whether it was from the white fletching and crest or not I don't know. I use a fleece cover that I made now.

I learned years ago to never use white for deer hunting or while hunting anything in the snow (unless you tie on a yarn tracer)

I got busted once when the brand new fletching scraped against my leg, now I only hunt with well broken-in fletching with worn edges.

my favorite color is chartreuse because of how bright it is in low light when I see 90% of my deer,, it has never flagged a deer but I try to move when they are walking or looking away.

Movement rather than fletch color is most likely the cause of getting busted. I use rather muted feathers, but my brother uses white crown dip and chartreuse feathers.

As far as we can tell, feather color/cresting has never been a problem.  Movement at the wrong time has.

To answer your question, ....NO.  And I have plenty of proof in you need me to email you.

As a warning, I never use white feathers, even though I use the 'correct' type of fletch cover, due to not wanting other hunters to think they are a deer's tail.

I use barred feathers with a white butt splice. It gives me the visual of a white feather from the rear but isn't enough to be a white flag waving around. I've never been busted because of feathers in my bow quiver. Too bad I can't say that about all the other things that have given me away.

I only had a problem one year on a few occasions. White reflective wraps full length and 3 5" white feathers. I do not use that combo anymore. I do shoot bright feathers and bright wraps with zero problem. Just me but i think i was glowing up the tree from the reaction i got from the deer.

never had a problem getting busted but I won\\t use white like others have said . I feel walking through the woods it might look like a white tail  flag so I don't use them but love me some orange .

I don't have to worry about white feathers, my face gets me busted all the time !  I can't  find anything that will takes away the glare from my glasses.  I have used face covers, burlap, netting.  But I still get busted.

Even in the Treestand.  For years, all these deer hunters been teaching these dear to look up.  I never had that problem when I was a kid on the farm.

But I always use off white and gray feathers well used.  So they are quiet

How can you know?

Movement, fletching color, out of place human form, all of the above???
