I'm not familiar with the Ramer? what type of design is it?

Ramer is Steve's reverse handle stringfollow.  JeffG (Jeff Gainer-PA) owns one and loves it.

I think Roger Norris has one and likes it.

Awsome bow!!  I shot one last year in Kalamazoo, and had one on order shortly thereafter.  Very forgiving bow to shoot.  Mine is green glass back and belly with tempered bamboo cores with myrtle in the handle. With wedges in the tips.  It's 48#@28", I'm shooting 60-65# spine doug firs from surewood shafts with 225 grain tips up front and it shoots them with authority!!!!
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

I shot one last year at the Kzoo Expo. Steve insisted that I put it through the paces. He knows that my go to bow is my Whisper that he made for me years ago. Results; the Ramer is not only stable, forgiving, deadly quiet but unbelievably fast with a heavy arrow. In a word, I was very impressed. You have chosen an amazing bow my friend. The merits of reverse handle longbows are coming to the forefront it seems.Long overdo in my humble opinion.

What is the difference between the ramer and whisper reverse handle longbow.thanks tom

The Ramer is string follow, Whisper is backset or straight.

Never shot string follow,do you think they are nicer, more forgiving to shoot.I shoot a 66" longbow straight limb, basically just hunt.

Vesty

I have never noticed a measurable difference myself. A straight limb will be a fuzz faster but again not that noticeable.

I picked up mine in Baltimore this spring 64" 50#@27. I love it best shooting longbow I have. Whether it be the reverse hand string follow design or not she just shoots
