I have several with the take down bow bolt system including shrews and elkhearts.  
I have never had one fail. The system is easy and effective and I actually prefer as it add a bit of weight/stability for me.  Hope this helps!

Not yet Keith.  I've got a couple new Java's this season so I'm splitting time with them.  Spent about 16 days in the KS trees so far.  Been a weird season.  Some movement early...then it kinda got slow during what is usually our peak.  I've seen a few and passed a few but nothing just right yet.  I'll keep at it tho!
