This is a short video that my Friend Gabe VanWormer put together from footage he shot while I made his bow last fall. He shot the LongWalker for a number of years, and made some nice harvests.
This bow is my Ogemaw model.
Specs are 54" and draws 54#@28"
Walnut Burl veneers, Bacote and Purple Heart Riser, Michigan Elk Antler tips.
Thanks for looking, Hope you enjoy it.

Great video!

I've shot one of your Ogemaws. It is a super sweet shooting bow!

Good stuff Chuck. What's the longest draw you recommend for a 56"er?

Possum Head, I shoot a 56" and draw 30". I can shoot it all day with no sore fingers. It's real solid.

Excellent video Chuck.  Still waiting for that 50" longbow to come out so I can easily get after some turkeys.

Always pushing my envelope Mike.    :)
Whats your Draw Length?
My 54" Ogemaw would work well for you I bet.

29" draw.  My Ambush recurve handles my draw length easily (handled Thom's 32" draw too) and my boys have now adopted the Ambush as theirs, but I told myself that if I ever buy another longbow, it's going to be 50" or less (I know, not really a "longbow", but you understand my intentions).
