The Maine Traditional Archers sState shoot will happen Sunday at te Durham Rod and Gun club in Durham Maine.  Medals are awarded in multiple categories.  It is a lot of fun, and really not all that competitive.  so if you want to have fun,and maybe win a medal come on up.

                                                        Registration begins at 8 am
                                                  30, 3-D TARGETS ON 2 COURSES

CLASSES AS FOLLOWS:

Men's recurve
Women's recurve
Men's longbow
Women's longbow
Men's primitive (all wood bows and arrows)
Women's primitive (all wood bows and arrows)
Youth (ages 12-16)
Cub (ages 7-11)
Pee-Wee ( ages 1-6)
Open ( any recurve or longbow, any rest, stabilizers)

Plaques to 1st place in each class, medals to 2nd and 3rd place.

No sights, or markings on the riser or string in any class
No mechanical rests, berger buttons or stabilizers in any class except the open class
Scoring is 11, 10, 8, 5, and 0. 11's will be counted and used as a tie breaker. In the event there is still a tie,the 1st 5 targets will be shot to determine the winner.
Shooter must be able to touch the appropriate ribbon.
Altering the course or targets is strictly forbidden.
Having fun is highly encouraged !

Cost is $10 for members, $15 for non-members, $5 for youth, cubs and pee-wee, free
