Looking for a bow holder for my longbow while sitting in my blind. Most of the ones that I have looked at are designed for the compound. Most are not high enough for the longbow or recurve.

If you find one please let me know how I can get one. Been looking for several years without success. Not a big issue but something I have seen a need for. Thank you.   :dunno:

I use the top of my boot , just slide the lower limb in and it stays til I need it... I learned this from Kenny M...

I hang mine from the top of the blind but I use fairly short bows as well. I assume you guys are looking for something that goes into the ground? Which I have NOT seen by the way.
Take care,

I welded a tall one and a short one so the bow sits at a little less than 45 but not quite parallel to the ground.  Got the idea from a Fred bear pic where he was using sticks.  I used 1/4 round stock and then wraped the ends in tape.

If you're talking pop-up blind and not natural blind, I do this with a recurve.  Think it will work for a longbow as well.  I tie a loop in a piece of parachute cord and tie the cord to one of the overhead blind roof braces/rods.  I then set the bow's lower tip on the ground in front of or to the side of me and put the upper limb tip in the loop, with the bow leaning forward a little.

Might need to adjust the position of the parachute cord up or down and/or side to side to get it where I want, but very convenient, quiet and easy to use when it's set up.  When a critter comes by, I just grab the bow and lean it back and the loop falls from the top limb tip.  Give it a try if you're using a pop-up.
