Thanks guys for all the compliments. I would go into more detail about the hunts but have committed to the Primitive Archer and the African Bowhunter magazines for stories, so please check out the Primitive Archer for those up coming stories and if your in Africa the African Bowhunter.
This truly was a great hunt in which my sinew backed osage bows proved to those questioning their place on an African hunt, that they can not only perform but in many cases out perform other types of bows. Quietness and cast being two of the main advantages.
Thanks again,
Mike

Looks like a great hunt on every level!

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

What poundage were you shooting and did you bring a backup bow??
I took 4 bows on this trip, two sinew backed 60 lb osage bows, a 63 lb selfbow and a 56 lb glass bow.
I never took the glass bow out and killed all the animals with the two sinew backed osage bows.
