Keith: 4-broadheads, 2-blunt tipped flu-flus. I only see occasional bear sign, and that has been blackies.

Well, the last two days of the season were uneventful. Nice weather, just no moose.

Also, all the time I put in the woods, I didn't see a single grouse! Usually, there are everywhere.

So now I get a week break before the regular season.

Keith: Sitka is a nice place. Wouldn't mind living there myself. The fishing and hunting is great. It is kind of a small town, but if you need a bigger city fix, it's a short ferry trip, or even shorter plane ride, to Juneau.
