Mostly a longbow guy but been having an itch to get a nice 3 piece recurve.

Pay day today and I was on the Robertson site and saw this older model Raven Eco recurve. Black diamond wood riser and elm limb veneers.  43 @ 28 (I draw 27)  So I can shoot it for long periods and still legally hunt with it. Pulled the trigger and called to put some money down on it

Anyone had experience with this model? I hear the grip is fantastic. Had a Purist at one point and loved it.

I haven't had any experience with the Raven but you might check out Montana Bows by Dan Toelke.  The Chinook recurve is the best shooting recurve I have ever owned and is also the most quiet.  You will  not be disappointed.

Good luck.

Dan, sent my new Toelke Chinook yesterday.I can let you know how the Toelke Chinook shoots for me next week. The Robertsons make a great bow.

Good Luck.

I've been a Robertson fan for over 35 years, and still shoot 3 of his regularly. I believe you will be happy with any Model you chose. I view his site regularly, and saw the bow you're looking at; great value for the price new. Good luck to you.

Been wanting to try the chinook recurve for quite some time now. I've been a longbow shooter primarily since I sold my wheel bow 12 years ago. I have a Toelke whip longbow now and love it !
