A little while ago I had a TallTines Stickflinger that I really like made with woods from IdahoCurt, and I thought that Brian did a great job putting it all together, so I chose another set of veneers from IdahoCurt and had them sent off to make another set of limbs that would make a 62" bow instead of a 64", and be quite a bit lighter than what I normally shoot in case I want to shoot alot of 3D later or just as the years start to wear on me.  Well, I just got the limbs back today, and I think they came out really well.  This is what the bow originally looked like, and the next pic is the veneers that I had sent to Brian.

Here are some pics of the limbs with the original riser, that I just got back in the mail today.

I had a really good group going... until I shot the second arrow.

My best bows are the ones someone else didn't want.

My goodness Pat! I think you have the sharpest bow collection. That's thing is gorgeous.

Thanks.  We sure are lucky to live in an Era where there are so many incredibly talented bowyers, and where there is a market for people like IdahoCurt and Big Jim to make such great woods available for us to use.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I have the pics of your Stickflingers saved on my phone and look at them all the time! I talked to Brian last week and ordered my new bow. Not sure of the woods yet but I might be a copy cat. Awesome looking Bows Pat
