Joe (Whip) Lasch was the high bidder on my St Jude Tomato Slicer knife...but I think he was trying to up the price and surprised to learn he won. Being a great friend and hunting pal, I offered him any knife I forge.  He sent me a picture of a knife he liked.  I forged one up but then decided to forge a second one...a thicker backed hunting knife vs a thin kitchen style.  So I'll send him both to choose. He hasn't decided on handle material yet.  One thought was dark swirly walnut with turquoise sand filling in voids.

Knives OAL 9-9 1/2 inches of 1084 carbon steel...tippit

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
