The website is  http://www.e-screamingeagle.com/

Don't make the bows anymore mainly the treestands and a few of the accessories. This is one of the best treestands around. IMHO

Paul sold the store several years ago to someone in PA. they have since folded. however they still produce the tree stands under the Screaming Eagle name in Ovando,Mt. as Joe said.

Speaking of.....does anyone own a screaming eagle bow?  I've never seen one offered up for sale or trade on here or any of the other trad sites.

BCD

The bow they carried under the name screaming eagle was actually a martin hatfield. At the time they came out with their treestands, I was really impressed, but the competition has clearly passed them buy. The screaming eagle treestand is heavy, hard to put up, expensive, and uncomfortable compared to a Rivers Edge, Gorilla, or Big Game.

BCD , I beg to differ , I own several Screaming Eagle stands and find them very easy to put up and as stable as any . They are a little heavy (19 lbs.) but they are made out of steel and never creak like aluminum stands do in very cold weather , and maybe I am set in my ways but I find them very comfortable , I guess that's why they make chocalate and vanilla , my thought , Fred

Here is a page from the 1997 Screaming Eagle catalog that shows the Mountain Bow they used to make. I always wanted one and waited to long...
J D Berry also made a bow for them that was called the "Screaming Eagle" Longbow.

Matty

WOW I remember that catalog...where did you dig up that thing?

Wish I had not ditched all my old catatlogs.

I have saved a few catalogs over the years. Every year I would get ready to throw them away and I just couldn't do it. I finally bought some magazine holders and have just tucked them in those and stuck them in my closet.

Wow, I was looking on here for some info on the bow I just picked up at the Trad expo in Wheeling.  It's a 56" 56@27 Screaming Eagle Mountain bow.  It has a few spots from it's years in service, but when I shot it, I just couldn't put it down.  The tips look reinforced for FF, so I've made me up a string and have been working on trying to get it up to speed to start bareshafting.  I'm quite pleased so far with it.  Any of you guys have any experience with them?  I can post some pics of it if anybody is interested.  Thanks,  Bobby

Joe, you remember the catalog Paul had with Barry, or was it Gene? In a camo wife beater t shirt and fatigue pants, bandoliers over both shoulders, holding an M60 morphed into a scoped crossbow looking all bad-axxed? That was a scream of a picture..and I wish I had saved that bad boy!!!

I think Paul mentioned a couple of years back that he had a few of those posters of Barry left.

If I remember correctly for a brief period Martin offered a bow designed by Paul Schaffer that Brunner sold through his catalog.  I can not remember the name of it but Martin did not build it for very long.  Does any one else remeber this?

One was sold in the classifieds just recently.

I have one of the square cornered screaming eagles stands. (the original type, I believe) Wonder if it's worth any collectors value...8^)

Did Paul move from MT to PA and open the store? Just curious...
