"The Southern Plains Traditional Shoot at McAlester is on. Shoot dates are Aug 5 & 6. Shooting starts as soon as day light permits. Longbow and recurve shoot on Saturday. Selfbow shoot on Sunday.

This is a fun shoot guys! If I could only attend one in Oklahoma each year I would choose this one ☝️

We should try to get some of us TG'ers gathered and shoot a round together. I know I had a great time shooting with Jason (jt85) & Darren (can't remember his screen name right now) a couple of years ago. I need to shoot a round with Michael so he can show me how it's done!

Tony, Michael would be the one.  I was having all kinds of trouble with my shooting and he gave me some good instructions.

I don't doubt it, Gordon. The guy is good. I might see if I can get him to teach me how to hunt, too. He just lays them down every year!

Please post times when available, would like to attend and meet up with and shoot with some TG'ers!

Everybody else, I'm still game to shoot with other TG guys. But I will warn you, I'm notorious for running later than I'd like, so it may be at a hotter part of the day. If someone wants to pick a time & place to meet up, I'll try to make it on time....
