Ive killed two antelope out of windmills and its nice to be able to see better than in a blind but the sun will cook you! I prefer a blind because you can bring all you want for an all day set and have the freedom of movement and shade.

Longbow fanatic you wanted to know what tri pods we used I didn't find out what my friends used but I dug out the one I use on hogs and it is Hunt From Above, The Hawk. You will bake in the sun out west and you need to fix up some kind of shade . The last time I sat in a pop up it reach 106 degress in the shade and there was a black interior in the blind I cooked, I sat in my underwear and went through a couple gallons of water that day . I have sat in pit blinds that were like dutch ovens it gets hot in Aug. and Sept. out west. But even still I love antelope hunting.
