God bless,
Can anyone tell me what bow this is? Stunning!

I'm going to guess that it is a Huntsman by a guy in Australia. Looks like wenge and black palm wood.

It was built by Trent Wengerd of Wengerd Archery...an amazing bow...coconut palm, wenge and red palm veneers...

Yow some of these bows belong in an art gallery! I love nice wood but taking one of these into the woods would make me VERY nervous......

Good golly! Ive been a longbow man a while now...dont get me wrong, every one of these bows are gorgeous.....but I can't get over the massive size of especially the 3 piece recurve bows! They're HUGE! Lol! Gorgeous, but Huge! Nothing wrong with huge, I'm just not use to seeing bows that size!

That riser is absolutely gorgeous!

There are sooo many beautiful wood riser bows. As huntryx mentioned, "Yow some of these bows belong in an art gallery! I love nice wood but taking one of these into the woods would make me VERY nervous......".

I can echo that sentiment even though those beautiful works of archery art are also probably excellent tools for hunting and killing game animals.

So, yeah, with all these beautiful wood bows, I really cannot fathom the reason for choosing a metal riser... it just seem so 'sterile'.

That said, ironically enough, i prefer fiberglass/carbon resin stocks on my hunting rifles....     :dunno:
