I'm not old enough to remember Howard Hill, (or even Fred Bear for that matter), but I've wanted an ASL for awhile now though I can't really say why.  I briefly (days) had a Shelton but my pointer chewed the limb.  Well I finally got around to ordering a Two Tracks Echo, a bow I've had my eye on for awhile.  Chuck was awesome to deal with and convinced me that at my 26" draw he could build me a 64" bow, so long as I don't let anyone else shoot it.  It'll be Osage, walnut limbs and light brown glass with a grip made to the measurement of my hand.  It'll be 58# @ 26" and hopefully I'll get to figure out some woodies for it.  This should mark the beginning of a new trad journey that I'm impatiently waiting to start, so long as I can keep my dog away from it

I picked up an Echo at Compton from Chuck. Mine is 70" 47# @ 29" Osage riser, walnut cores and Dark brown glass. I shot it some today......I think you will be pleased.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Heard amazing things about them. I got on the list back in December and as far as I know its currently being glued up this month. Super excited.

Chuck is extremely detail oriented and the Echo is a great choice of hill bow.

What a coincidence!  I just took delivery of my new Echo. 70"
#62 @ 30". Osage riser with Walnut limbs. It's beautiful. It throws a long heavy arrow with authority. I'm going to write a review when I get some time. I love it

Isn't that funny, seems to be a popular combo.  It isn't something Chuck recommended either, i actually asked for that.

I wanted woods indiginus to Miichigan. It's a nice looking combination. Very well behaved after the shot as well.
