So, say the Broadhead you want to shoot is 125 grains. Problem is that you tuned perfectly for 300 grains upfront. Do you have a 100 Gr brass insert and a 200 gr head.

Are there adapters heavier? Or a screw in attachments of some type?

GT now makes a 100 grain brass point adapter, which would put the weight further up front than 2 50 grain add on weights behind the normal point adapter.

I like a 50 grain brass adapter and 250 grain point.  125 steel adapter in the back of the 125 grain head.

I make my own 175 grain adapters out of 225 grain field points I turn down with a drill and bench grinder.  It's pretty easy to do if you have the tools

Which 125gr broadhead? Fixed screw in type, or glue on with adapter? How you go depends on this...

If the screw in portion of the broadhead is not removable, I got a feeling you are out of luck trying to hit 300 out front with the 125gr broadhead. If it WERE removable, Vintage Archery Co has special heavy point adapters in 175gr as well as other weights. That is why I asked which broadhead...some use removable adapters  and some do not.
I think you'd be stuck adding the screw in the back of insert weights if it is not removable.

I do it similar to Longtoke:

I fix a drill anywhere I can to keep it horizontal and steady.  Using an old screw in insert I screw a 145 gr fp and put it in the drill. (I use the insert so I don't damage the threads on the field point).  I turn drill on and use an old(er) bastard file to remove enough material until it's at the weight I want.  Once I do one or two I just eyeball it and the finished "weights" are within 3 or 4 grs of each other.

Vintage archery has 150, 175 and 200 grain extended adapters you can pair up with your preferred 125 gn broadhead to get the weight you want

If you use a 100gr brass insert adapter combo, then a 75gr woody weight, and then your 125gr glue on broadhead that would work. I'd of suggested this earlier but you had mentioned your broadhead was screw in type...
