I, along with a bunch of my loyal customers have been curious about the future of Brownell Fury since the manufacturer is discontinuing that material.

I spoke with Allen Conner, Sales Manager @ Brownell this morning. He said they they have enough material to keep Fury on the market for at least 3 years. That is awesome news!

Their new material will be Rampage. It will be a slightly thinner material than Fury, but shooting characteristics are reported to be very similar.  I was told that it will take approx. 20 strands of Rampage to equal the finished string diameter of my current 18 strand Fury strings.

I will continue to offer Fury as my main FF material as long as it is available. I honestly don't see a better material on the market. I know that is very subjective, but I wouldn't offer it if I, and many of my customers weren't completely satisfied with it!

Just wanted to throw out that little update.  Brownell is always great to work with, and Allen Conner is a true asset to their team.

Thanks for the update Allen.  You make the best strings.  Ken

Always pleased with your work Allen. The two strings you sent me last month were spot on as always.

What about hoarders? How does that figure into their 3 year projection?   :bigsmyl:

Good twisting to ya, Allen!

I have purchased several Fury strings        I'm not changing material or string maker anytime soon. Good news Alan, keep up the good work.
